How much memory (RAM) should your computer have for best performance? The more memory you have the better, otherwise the video player cannot process the video fast enough to deliver a continuous stream on your computer, and you may see it stuttering and buffering. On a Windows PC, although you may be able to play the video with 512MB of memory or less, your experience will not be as good as if you have at least 1GB of memory. Mac OSX 10.x Power PCs need at least 1 GB of memory, and Mac OSX 10.x Intels needs at least 2 GB of memory.

Connection Speed and Data Rates

Check the speed of your internet connection by using the Settings option at the bottom of the player. You will need a constant minimum speed of 256kbps. The faster your connection, the better quality of video we can deliver to you.

Streaming Errors

If you experience constant buffering or streaming errors please contact info@classicaltv.com

Firewalls

Firewalls can stop or slow down the speed of your connection. You may need to configure them to open the relevant ports to enable streaming. This can require professional help so please contact your IT supplier or contact us at: info@classicalrv.com
