The Bayerischer Rundfunk Choir, one of Europe's leading a cappella vocal groups, is conducted by Michael Gläser.

This concert was specially-staged under studio conditions at the  Benedictine abbey at Plankstetten. This magnificent baroque building provides a stunning setting for performances of sacred choral music by Bruckner, Mendelssohn, Verdi, Reger, Messiaen and Bach.
